Email is Dead!
When I Google “Email is Dead” it takes Google less than half a second to give me about a million results. If nothing else it shows that the debate rages on. I scrolled down 10 pages and the headlines were still the same…Email is Dead vs Email is Not Dead! Incidentally, “Email is Not Dead” gets about 1/10th the hits.
Regardless, we are re-launching our email newsletter this month. Why would a forward thinking technology company launch an email newsletter in 2020? We have a website, a Partner Portal, three LinkedIn pages, a Twitter account and an Instagram/Facebook page. Add them up! We are communicating with our partners and customers through no less than 8 different channels. Even more when considering personal interactions through our Partner Marketing Managers, our Solution Specialists, and our Partner Sales Managers.
We are adding a newsletter to our already complex communication universe because these many channels can be overwhelming. My aim is to point our audience to a handful of curated items and make it personal and easy for them to comment back. I will share our experience as it unfolds in the months ahead.
